Body shapes matter when selecting clothes

Clothing comes in various shapes and cuts, and all cuts will not suit every body type. All of us have different structures and builds and what may look good on one may be the worst for us. Keeping this in mind, we have compiled a list of styles that go well with the common shapes.

Pear-shaped body
Pear-shaped bodies have heavier hips and things with a slim upper body. An A-line Anarkali in Surat, that is also floor length works well with this shape. Plunging necklines, also draw attention away from the disproportions.

Rectangular
This type of body has a wide shoulder and the hips and the shoulders are almost as wide. Anarkalis made from heavy dress materials with very wide V-necklines work well with this shape. Also, short jackets, layered Anarkalis look better with this frame and structure.

Hourglass
Women with an hourglass figure can wear any type of dress of cut. These shapes do well with almost all shapes and cuts. The truth is that designers create pieces keeping an hourglass figure in mind, although it is not as common as most would like it to be.

Apple (downward triangle)
Women with this shape of body should wear very wide hemlines and flairs, giving the lower body more volume for a proportionate look. The flares should ideally start a little above the regular waistline, to emphasize length as well as volume. It is best to avoid boat necks and high necklines for cotton Kurtis as well as Anrakalis.

Finding the right clothing to match a shape may be difficult and confusing and you should go by what feels good and also looks good to you. Everyone has their inherent styles and the clothes that you buy should fit well, be comfortable and look good.
